Sabah Energy makes strategic investments to boost earnings, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 02-07-2003 SABAH Energy Corp (SEC) is making strategic investments in independent power plants, chemical plants and other ventures to boost its financial standing. SEC chief executive officer and general manager Margaret Fung said the amount of investments in these new ventures will be quite substantial, but declined to provide details.

She said the new investments are expected to generate more profits for the company, which is wholly-owned by the State Government. "SEC and its group of companies are projected to continue and further improve its profits in the years ahead," Fung said.
