Canon sees mart share rising 50pc in 2 years, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 07-16-2003 CANON Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd's market share in both digital and video cameras is expected to grow by 50 per cent in the next two years, director and general manager for image communication products division Richard Yeow said. The company currently holds 24 per cent in the digital camera market and about 5 per cent in digital video camera segment.
"We plan to make it big in digital video cameras and will be launching our latest model powered by `DiGiC' technology this month," he said in a recent interview.
