Expansion to boost mart share: PSC, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 12-24-2003 FIBRE optic cable manufacturer Opcom Holdings Bhd made an 87.5 per cent premium on its debut on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Mesdaq Market yesterday. Opcom opened at RM1.50, or 70 sen above its initial public offering (IPO) price of 80 sen, before ending its first day on the local bourse at RM1.31, which was its day lowest as well.
It was the third highest gainer of the day with 4.1 million shares traded. Under the listing exercise, Opcom issued 26 million shares of 20 sen each at an issue price of 80 sen apiece. Its IPO was oversubscribed by 146.9 times.
