Shares of FTEC suspended after hitting limit-down, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 01-16-2004 SANYO Sales & Service Sdn Bhd's newly-launched digital camera and home theatre projector are expected to increase the company's sales this year by 30 per cent. Managing director Takeyuki Kamei said after stagnating sales of traditional home appliances, due to increased competition, Sanyo hopes to get back in the forefront with the new products.
Kamei was speaking to reporters in Petaling Jaya yesterday after launching the Xacti digital movie camera/still camera, the J2 digital camera and the Z2 liquid crystal display Z2 home theatre projector, each retailing at RM2,999, RM1,299 and RM9,800 respectively. Sanyo's competitors include Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, NEC, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, Pensonic, Khind and I-Bhd....
