Merrill Lynch Name To Sell Insurance And Annuities
NEW YORK--Merrill Lynch & Co. has announced that its insurance subsidiary, Merrill Lynch Life Insurance Co., will capitalize on the company's broad name recognition to popularize a series of eight proprietary products currently being developed.
"It gives us a proprietary product with our name," according to Dennis Hess, senior vice president of Merrill Lynch Diversified Financial Services.
