Pru Agents Link Up With Health Wholesaler
Prudential agents in California have been handed a new prospecting tool which, for the first time, allows them to sell health insurance products offered through an insurance wholesaler.
Under terms of this exclusive agreement between The Prudential and the Montclair, Calif.-based Group Benefits Plus, selected Prudential agents have access to health insurance products from approximately 14 insurers available through GBP.
"Our strategy is that the GBP products will act as a door opener for Prudential agents selling life insurance," explained Robert Cosgrove, Prudential's director of health products in the Western marketing office.
