Aetna Life and Annuity's new variable universal life insurance policy, AetnaVest Plus, offers three optional guaranteed death benefit options. The three optional guarantee periods are for five years, to age 80 and to age 100; the different guarantee periods each carry different premium levels. There are no restrictions on investment options for policyholders selecting any of the three guarantee periods. Policyholders are required to chose their guarantee period at the time of issue and are not allowed to amend that decision.
