Dun & Bradstreet HealthCare Information and EDS have developed a new service, called COMPETE, that gives firms information that will help to manage the continuity of a company's healthcare programs. In addition, the service provides businesses with information to cut medical costs and to purchase health care that is value-priced. The service will most likely be used with a client-server network system.
A marketer of business information and a provider of information technology have pooled their resources to create a new service which company officials say will provide health insurers with comparisons on the treatment effectiveness and performance of providers.
