The Republican Party majority in the US Congress may not bode as well for business as it had hoped. Recent articles in The Wall Street Journal newspaper and Money magazine have warned consumers to be careful of the marketing techniques of the life insurance industry. Money even made recommendations for insurance reform. These articles that were published so near to the recent elections could cause new regulations to be placed upon, instead of old regulations removed, from business.

"But for the first time in a long time, things are looking fairly calm."
