A memorandum sent by Guardian Life Insurance Company of America Regional VP H. Roger Daisley to the insurance agency managers of Guardian's central region recommends tactics for poaching managers from New York Life Insurance Co for their own agencies. The memorandum says that New York Life's corporate reports contain lists of the insurers' managers that could be offered employment opportunities. Agency managers known as General Agents were told to get copies of New York Life's national or regional reports and turn them into the Guardian regional office were the information would be collated and distributed.
