Low-cost Web sites yield good ROI.(return-on-investment)

Aon Insurance Services VP-Marketing Marian Cook, speaking at the Cyber Insurance 2000 annual forum, says that insurance companies can establish World Wide Web sites for a very small outlay of capital that produces a good return-on-investment. Aon Insurance Services, a broker, created a Web site for a first-year capital outlay of $3,000. These Web sites can be very cost-effective marketing channels.

While some companies are wary of investing in Internet technology, it is possible to establish a Web site that not only costs surprisingly little, but also produces good return-on-investment, according to Marian Cook, vice-president, marketing, for Aon Insurance Services, Trevose, Penn.
