Benefits Access, Inc., a CIGNA company, has announced a strategic relationship with Healtheon Corporation to acquire enhanced Internet capability and data management for BA'S administration and online benefits enrollment services.
Healtheon, based in Santa Clara, Calif., provides Internet-based e-commerce services that link doctors and consumers with health care institutions. Hartford-based BA said the relationship will enable it to provide corporate administrative services, such as benefits eligibility determinations, enrollment and elections management.
