YELLOWKNIFE, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, Apr 9, 2002

The Honourable Ethel Blondin-Andrew, Secretary of State (Children and Youth) and Member of Parliament for the Western Arctic, on behalf of the Honourable Jane Stewart, Minister of Human Resources Development Canada, today announced funding of $40,000, through the National Literacy Secretariat, for a project entitled NWT International Adult Literacy and Skills Survey (IALSS) 2002.
