OTTAWA, ONTARIO, Sep 20, 2005 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) -- Under the patronage of Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada, the National Gallery of Canada and its Foundation proceeded today with the unveiling of a Donor Wall that recognizes 125 years of art donations.

This Donor Wall pays tribute to more than 1,500 individuals, foundations and corporations that have donated one or more works of art to the Gallery since it was founded in 1880. This list also includes the names of donors who contributed to the Canadian Museum of Contemporary ...
