BERLIN, GERMANY, Oct 1, 2007 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- The Austrian Federal Railways (OBB) Passenger Service AG is expanding its fleet of vehicles with 17 additional BOMBARDIER(i) TALENT(i) trains. The four-car units are being built in a consortium with Elin EBG Traction/Siemens. From a total order value of around 76 million euros ($108 million US),

Bombardier has a share amounting to around 56 million euros ($79 million US). The new trains are scheduled for delivery from December 2008 to May 2009, and will then be used in cross-border traffic between Austria and Hungary.
