DUBAI AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT - THIRD DEVELOPMENT STAGE

The KSA Today newspaper gave details of the signing of a funding agreement for the third stage of the development work of the Dubai Airport Development Project. The paper noted that the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Ahmed bin Said al-Maktum, who also serves as the Chairman of the Dubai Airport Free Trade Zone, signed in July 2002 with representatives of the Dubai Islamic Bank an agreement for the funding of the work on the third stage of the development project.
The paper added that the cost of the project is estimated at DH 70 million, equal to$ 19.1 million, and it includes the construction of offices and new facilities at the airport.
