WAHA COMPANY INCOME FROM AIRPLANE LEASING IN 2002

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper quoted a notice published in late November 2002 by the Waha ("Oasis" in Arabic) international airplane leasing company announcing that its income from airplane leasing during the first nine months of 2002 came to DH 912 million ($32 million), up from DH 795 million in the same period in 2001.
The paper quoted Oasis Chairman of the Board, Muhammad Saif al-Mazru'i, who told the paper that the value of Company assets comes to billions of Dirham and that its airplane fleet has fifteen planes leased to international airlines. The paper noted that this Company operates in the Abu Dhabi Emirate.
