The international training unit of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has posted its2003 program of training events, many targeted toward journalists inCentral and Eastern Europe. EBU trainers organize courses forbroadcast professionals in business, journalism, new media,production, and technology.
Most courses are limited to active andassociate EBU members. The program includes a long-term trainingcourse on producing radio documentaries. Further details will beposted in September. The EBU is the world's largest associationof broadcasters, with 71 active members in Europe, North Africa, andthe Middle East, and 45 associate members in other countries.
