CONTRACT TO SUPPLY AND OPERATE EQUIPMENT FOR CAR WASHING FACILITIES IN GAS STATIONS

Al-Watan newspaper reported on the signing of a contract for the supply, installation, and operation of water purifying facilities in car washing services in new gas stations operated by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). ADNOC signed this contract with the Qatari Salam Company; the contract includes supply, installation, and operation of this equipment for a two-year period beginning at the end of 2002.
The paper quoted the Business Deals Manager of the Environmental Quality Section of the Salam Company, Baram Lal, who said that Salam has been operating in Qatar and the UAE since 1952.
