LABATT FOOD SERVICE AWARDED CONTRACT FOR FOOD DISTRIBUTION FOR MILITARY.

According to the DoD., Labatt Food Service Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $13,526,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-delivery type contract for full line food distribution for the Army, Navy, Air Force and federal civilian agencies throughout Texas and Oklahoma. This contract is exercising its second year option.
Work will also be performed in Dallas, Texas. Performance completed date is expected to be March 19, 2005. Contract funds will expire this current fiscal year. Originally, there had been 125 proposals solicited, and six had responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300- 04-D-3028).
