NATIONAL BANK OF ABU DHABI WITNESSES PEAK PROFITS

According to Al-Bayan newspaper (April 25, 2004), the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) recorded a peak net profit volume of Dh 216 million in the first quarter of the current year. This figure translates into a 21% increase over the corresponding period for the last year. The earning per share grew to Dh 9.19, up from Dh 7.61 in the first quarter of 2003, a 21% rise.

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi has come a long way since it was founded by the government in 1968, to become the Number One Bank in the UAE, in terms of total assets, deposits and branch network. With the largest branches and ATMs network in the country, NBAD has been serving the people of the UAE, offering them premier financial services and wide ranging banking facilities.
