GENERAL DYNAMICS AWARDED CONTRACT FOR OPERATIONAL CONCEPT SERVICES.

According to the DoD., General Dynamics, Suffolk, Va., is being awarded a $17,828,534 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under a previously awarded contract (N00140-01-C-H001) for formulation and analysis of joint operational concept services in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command's Joint Experimentation Directorate and Joint Futures Lab.
The modification consists of a base period with a value of $11,717,531 and an option period with a value of $6,111,003. Work will be performed in Suffolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by July 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia is the contracting activity.
