3 ELECTRICITY STATION PROJECTS IN JEDDAH

According to Al-Yaum newspaper (July 7, 2004), the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has recently allocated SR 102 million to execute three electricity substation projects in Jeddah region. The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Electricity Company, Mr. Tareq Al-Butairi, said that SEC has commissioned ABB Contracting Limited Company to build three substations in Jeddah with a voltage of 13.8/110 kilovolts to meet the growing demand for electrical power in the region and to provide better customer services.
