HOLLAND EASES VISA AND EMPLOYMENT RULES

According to "Economic Times", the Netherlands offers about 1500 courses in English across the bachelors, masters and PhD levels of study. And recent changes in the country's visa norms now make these courses more accessible to Indian students looking for an international experience. Interestingly, the country has also changed it work rules, so that foreign students who find jobs after completion of their studies can get a five-year work permit, allowing them to gain valuable work experience before returning to their home countries.

This change will come into effect from next year on. In addition, from September '05, the country will also launched a new scholarship program of 75m euros to attract the best students to the Netherlands. If a study program in the Netherlands...
