ARAB POTASH COMPANY POSTS JD 33.3 MILLION PROFITS

According to Addustour newspaper (December 20, 2004), the Arab Potash Company posted JD 33.28 million net profits in the first nine months of the current year. This profits volume represented 25.7% of the total sales in the same period. The Arab Potash Company (APC) is a pan Arab company formed in 1956 and was given a concession from the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to exploit, manufacture and market the resources of the Dead Sea for 100 years.

APC is one of the world's leaders in producing Potassium Chloride (MOP) / Fertilizer grade (2 million MTPY) and Industrial grade Potash (100,000 TPY).
