INTEL TO ASSIST IN DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAMESE IT INDUSTRY

According to "VoV", Intel President and CEO Paul Otellini, has pledged to help Vietnam build a strong IT industry in the fields of computing, telecommunications and software production and development. Meeting with mass media workers in Hanoi, Otellini, who is on his two-day visit to Vietnam, stressed that Intel will help Vietnam become a country where most provinces and cities have access to digital technology which will increase the country's competitiveness and improve the quality of people's life.
The Ministry of Post and Telematics will also work with Intel on using its wireless WIMAX broadband technology for high-speed connection with rural areas. With support from Intel, the Ministry of Post and Telematics will develop programs to increase opportunities for computer...
