MOUSSA SAYS CONSTITUTION "RECIPE FOR CHAOS"

Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa said parts of the Iraqi draft constitution are a "recipe for chaos". He told the BBC that the Arab League shares the Sunni Muslim concerns over federalism and the fact that the charter codes Iraq as an Arab country. "I share the concerns of many Iraqis about the lack of consensus on the constitution," Moussa told the BBC's World Today program.

He said that he was concerned that the draft text denies Iraq's "Arab identity". Moussa further said that all Iraqi ethnic and religious groups should reach a consensus on the new constitution.
