NORTHROP GRUMMAN AWARDED CONTRACT FOR NETWORK SECURITY

Northrop Grumman Information Technology, McLean, Va., is being awarded a $24,800,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to develop a dynamic network security architecture that provides situational awareness of network security and events and active policy to manage the network, network security and policy to allow joint coalition operations.

At this time, $50,000 has been obligated. Solicitation began in August 2004 and two proposals were received. Negotiations were complete in July 2005. The location of performance is Northrop Grumman Corporation, Information Technology, McLean Virginia; and ITT Industries, Rome, N.Y. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8750-05-D-0260).
