GOVT. GOES AHEAD WITH MICROSOFT COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAM

According to "Jordan Times", a total of 265 government employees have so far received training as part of the government's strategic partnership with Microsoft (MS) to upgrade the performance of the public sector. Minister of Information and Communication Technology Nadia Saeed and Jordan E-government Initiative Director Khaldoun Naffa made the announcement during a press conference.

Saeed said the e-government program is part of the public sector reform process. The strategic partnership with MS, which began in 2002, is a comprehensive program that has included several programming services for government agencies and training for public servants.
