ZTE SIGNING UP TO THE WORLD'S LARGEST 3G OPERATOR

According to fdi.gov.cn: ZTE Communications recently passed a strict test on handset specifications of Hutchison 3G, the world's largest 3G carrier from the Hutchison business family. As a result, ZTE has reached an agreement with Hutchison 3G, which enables the latter to source on a prescribed scale WCDMA handsets from ZTE.
With that, ZTE is also rising to the forefront of the global 3G market as a world-class 3G terminal supplier. As a proponent of 3G in the world, Hutchison 3G currently operates in 3G services in 9 countries and regions including the UK, Italy, Sweden, Australia and Hong Kong. Its 3G subscriber base has grown over 10 million.
