RENAULT HIRES THURAYA MOTORS AS ITS NEW JORDAN DISTRIBUTOR

According to "Jordan Times", Thuraya Motors Limited is now the new Jordan distributor for French car manufacturer Renault. He added that the change of distributors in the country was a part of their new global strategy. According to Herteman, Renault was looking to build new partnerships with distributors to match the company's strategy of globalization, enhancing quality, profitability and above all sales. The commercial director expected Renault's sales outside of Europe to grow from 27 per cent of total sales in 2005 to 37 per cent in 2009, an increase of 80 per cent as the priority is now to enter global markets.

He also stressed Renault's commitment to offer safe vehicles to Jordanian consumers noting that 17 per cent of all the top-ranked cars in terms of safety,...
