According to fdi.gov.cn: Related sources show Siemens Communications Group has taken over Photonic Bridges (China) Limited, a specialized optical network developer headquartered in Shanghai. It also intends to build Asia's largest optic communications R&D center and manufacturing base in Caohejing Development Zone to make full use of China's human resource advantages in optic communications, data, audio technology and software as well as the sound investment climate in Shanghai.
The company remains committed to R&D, manufacturing, technical support and services for optical communications equipment and networks worldwide.
