ZTE WINNING A NETWORK BUILDING CONTRACT IN MONGOLIA

According to fdi.gov.cn: Latest sources from ZTE show the company has recently reached a commercial contract with Mongolia's top telecom operator Skytel on the building of a CDMA2000EV-DORev.A network. The project is expected to be complete by the third quarter of this year. It is the first commercial use network since the launch of Rev.A, often compared to as wireless ADSL.

CDMA2000EV---DORev.A is a high-speed 3G technology often compared to as wireless ADSL. The technology will be commercialized throughout the world at the end of 2006. Many telecom operators in Europe are in the process of building such networks.
