A EUROPEAN SURVEY INDICATES STRONG CONFIDENCE OF FOREIGN FIRMS IN THE CHINA MARKET

According to fdi.gov.cn: According to the Financial Times, Hay Group recently conducted a survey among managers of some European, North American and Asia-Pacific firms. The result shows the vast majority of the mangers regard China as a potential market for their companies but at the same time they are concerned about business secret theft by their Chinese competitors.

The survey also finds that 83% of the managers wish to invest in China, believing that China's fast-growing economy will provide more opportunities for foreign goods and services providers. Many of the surveyed foreign companies have already set up branches in China or have plans to do so in the next five years.
