WB PRESIDENT HAILS ECONOMIC REFORMS

World Bank president Paul Wolfowitz voiced his appreciation of the economic reforms adopted by Egypt, confirming the bank's support for those reforms in the coming period. These remarks were made by Wolfowitz during his meeting with Minister of Investment Mahmoud Mohieddin in Washington. Mohieddin said he discussed with Wolfowitz the economic reforms carried out by the Egyptian government especially in the field of developing financial sector.

Mohieddin reviewed the latest economic indicators which reflect the development of Egyptian economy. Mohieddin also had talks with assistant US commercial representatives on beefing up cooperation in the field of attracting US investments to Egypt.
