METEOROLOGY STATEMENT

According to Oman News: As was forecast light to moderate rain fell over Musandam and Al-Buraimi governorates, as well as the Dhahira and Al-Batinah regions this evening, according to a statement issued by the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation and Meteorology. The statement said the latest satellite image and Oman regional model and international numerical model centres indicate continuation of the weather event over the Sultanate for the next few days due to a trough of low pressure area associated with instability and adequate moisture.
