PEOPLE ASSEMBLY RESTORES RELATIONS WITH EU PARLIAMENT

People Assembly Speaker Dr. Ahmed Fathy Sorour has announced the restoration of parliamentary relations between the Peoples Assembly and European parliament after the visit by Hans Gert Poettering, the Speaker of European Parliament to the People's Assembly. Sorour said the visit of the Speaker of European Parliament reflects his respect and appreciation for the Egyptian parliament and response to Egypt's call for opening dialogue.
Sorour criticized some European writings published recently on Islam and the Prophet Mohamed. On his part, the Speaker of European Parliament stressed the importance of dialogue and mutual respect among nations.
