EGYPT SIGNS MOU WITH WORLD CLASS HOTEL COMPANY

Egypt signed Tuesday 26/2/2008 a memo of understanding with Ritz- Carlton, a world-wide hotel chain company, to start negotiations on managing Nile Hilton Hotel after contract with Hilton International ends December 31, 2008. The signing ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif, Investment Minister Mahmoud Mohie Eddin, Chairman of the Egyptian General Company for Tourism and Hotels (EGOTH) Fathi Nour and Ritz-Carlton Chief Operating Officer and President Simon F.
Cooper. EGOTH Chairman Nour said workers at the hotel will not be harmed by the shifting as Ritz-Carlton will work for better management and marketing of the hotel to reach international levels.
