General Atomics Aeronautical System, San Diego, was awarded on Feb. 28, 2008, an $18,666,000 cost-plus incentive fee contract for incremental funding for system development and demonstration for the extended range/multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle.Work will be performed in San Diego, Adelanto, Calif., Palmdale, Calif., Salt Lake City, Hunt Valley, Md., and Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Aug.
