LIFE INSURANCE PENETRATION STILL LOW

According to Al-Khaleej newspaper (May 7, 2009), addressing Insurex 2009, Fareed Lutfi, Secretary General of Emirates Insurance Association, said that the life insurance penetration rate in the UAE and several other countries in the Middle East is as low as 0.3 per cent. By 2012, it is expected that penetration will rise to 0.5 per cent, added Lutfi.
