SOUTH KOREAN LG CHEMICAL COMPANY TO INVEST IN TOOTH PASTE

AsiaInfo Services 05-15-1996 South Korean LG Chemical Company to Invest in Tooth Paste BEIJING, May 15, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- The Beijing First Daily Chemical Plant signed contracts recently with South Korean LG Chemical Corporation to jointly establish Beijing Lejing Daily Use Chemical Co. Ltd.
The contractual investment involved in the joint venture is US$ 12 million. And the joint venture will produce tooth paste packed in composite tubes and aluminum tubes. During the initial period, some 40 million tubes of tooth paste will be produced annually. And the production scale will be gradually extended to 200 million tubes per year.
