AsiaInfo Services 02-18-1997 Lucent Realizing 1st CDMA Telephone Call in China GUANGDONG, February 18, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- With the newly-established experimental system in Guangdong Province, Lucent Technologies Company successfully made the first CDMA telephone call in China recently.
This call is a mobile fixed one completed with 5ESS exchange (switchboard) and Autoplex station and is now being operated in the trial network from Guangzhou to Fanyu.
