AsiaInfo Services 10-06-1997 Lotus Adds Internet to Notes CHINA, October 3, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- Autumn, the season the lotus is in blossom, greeted the opening of a conference organized by Lotus Development Corp to showcase application programs developed on its Notes and Domino software.
As the Internet spreads wider in Shanghai and more companies set up their own networks, Lotus added Internet functions to Notes creating an independent server software package named Domino. The new groupware reduces paperwork, saving time by sharing information and strengthening coordination.
