AsiaInfo Services 04-27-1998 Northern Telecom Won Hebei Cable Contract CHINA, April 23, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- Recently Canada Northern Telecommunication Company offered SDH optical and microwave transmission facilities for the Hebei Broadcast TV Bureau's cable TV backbone network.
The project will be put into operation in this August. Through the cable network, as many as 11 major cities of the province will be able to receive 6 sets of TV programme, 3 sets of stereo broadcast and various graphic messages.
