AsiaInfo Services 08-20-1999 Erricsson Taking Part in Y2K Test CHINA, August 20, AsiaPort -- Ericsson recently took part in the first on-the-spot Y2K test of mobile communication network as an equipment supplier. The Y2K test was done in the analog network and digital network of mobile communication respectively, which were both established with Ericsson's system equipment.
The test was conducted by Guangdong Mobile Communication Co Ltd in Zhaoqing City. It covered basic communication and charging function.
