AsiaInfo Services 12-09-1999 China Says Small Countries Need Attention CHINA, December 09, AsiaPort -- China put forward five proposals for the next round of world trade talks, stressing that the interests of developing countries should be taken seriously. The proposals were made by Shi Guangsheng, the Chinese minister for foreign trade and economic cooperation, at the third ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Trade ministers from 135 WTO members are meeting here to set an agenda of the next round of trade talks.
