AsiaInfo Services 12-24-1999 Heinz Introduces Baby Food CHINA, December 24, AsiaPort -- Heinz, a leading US-based manufacturer of baby food in the world, has introduced 15 kinds of bottled baby food into Beijing and Tianjin markets with various mashed vegetables and fruit as well as fruit juice.
Nutritionists said the new Heinz infant foods are suitable complementary foods to breast milking which can help Chinese babies grow healthily. With two joint ventures in Guangzhou and Qingdao, Heinz seeks more partners in China to develop their worldwide core products of sauce and condiments, infant foods, tuna, convenience meals, frozen foods and pet food.
