AsiaInfo Services 12-29-1999 Ericsson Puts Emphasis on Localizing Its Team CHINA, December 29, AsiaPort -- World telecom giant Ericsson, with its long-term development strategy in China, is committed to localizing its employees and high-ranking managers. "We never soften our pace in the progress of localization in China, especially for our team of empolyees here," said Michael Ricks, president of Ericsson (China) Corp.
Ricks said that more than 90 percent of the company's 4,000 employees are local Chinese. Ericsson also currently has 23 representative offices and eight joint ventures in China.
