AsiaInfo Services 01-09-2001 ABB Announces Structure Change CHINA, May 23, 2001 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- ABB announced its would combine the Paper & Pulp Division and the Metals & Minerals Division under the ABB Automation (China) recently in Beijing. The new company will expand to be the center of ABB's metals and minerals business in the Asia-Pacific region. According to company president Jon Dullforce, it will provide the Chinese customers with improved competitiveness and profitability through innovation in technology, services and channels to market.
Over the past three years, the Metals & Minerals Division delivered China's metal sector more than US$ 60 million worth of electric and automation-control systems and supporting services. ...
