AsiaInfo Services 04-03-2001 Exchange Rate To Be Flexible BEIJING, Apr 03, 2001 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- fter WTO entry, with the changes in trade and investment, variations will increase in payments in China, so the exchange rate will be flexible to certain degree, pointed out Dai Xianglong, President of People's Bankof China recently in Beijing. At an interview with the editor-in-chief of Business Week, Dai expressed optimism on the economic and financial situation both at home and in the world, saying that the country's economic conditions are good and the stability of RMB has a solid foundation.
